How is the Indiana Fever rebuild going?

The Indiana Fever, after a rebuilding period, made the playoffs in 2024 with Caitlin Clark leading the way, but were quickly swept by the Connecticut Sun due to their lack of playoff experience.

To address this, the Fever prioritized acquiring championship experience in the off-season.

Key acquisitions include veteran players like DeWanna Bonner (with extensive playoff experience and two championships), Natasha Howard (three-time champion), Sydney Colson (two-time champion), and Brianna Turner. These players bring a winning mentality and can mentor the younger core of the team, including stars like Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell.

While these veterans may not be the primary scorers, their experience playing alongside stars and their knowledge of what it takes to win championships are expected to be invaluable in developing a championship culture within the Fever organization.

The team believes this infusion of experience, combined with their existing talent, makes them a potential championship contender.
